Our Policies We require a 24 hour notice if you may need to reschedule or cancel .If you do not give us this time then there is a $5.00 fee that will be added to your account.
For any
appointments that are canceled, and do not call or are not home when appointment is scheduled.
The following
actions will be taken.
For any appointments that need to be canceled by Dolly's Waggin, there will be a Discount given at their next appointment, and will be rescheduled at the customers earliest possible convenience. Please Walk your Dog! It is very important that you take your pet out for a "potty Break" before we groom your pet. This will help relax him/or her and helps, prevent any accidents from happening and extra clean up cost for you. There is an extra clean up fee of $3.00 if we have to re bath and stop to clean up after your pet! Pets with difficult Personalities! If your pet is difficult to groom we may need to use a soft muzzle. There is $5.00 muzzling fee if needed. Some pets just will not tolerate the grooming and they may be good candidates for a mild sedative. WE DO NOT GIVE SEDATIVES. You will need to get a pill, which will sedate your pet, from your local vet. Once you have a sedative you will need to give the pill one hour prior to their grooming. A sedative will help relax them during the grooming process. Sedatives are safe if your pet has been checked out by a vet. We will let you know if your pet needs to see a vet for a sedative for us to groom. Drying dogs that do not tolerate the dryer! some pets do not tolerate the drying process very well. If your pet is one that does not tolerate or gets stressed from the dryer, you may find some damp spots on your pet. We will always try or best to make sure they are completely dry, but we want their grooming to be a positive stress free experience! Please try to understand. Payment! Cash or checks only sorry no Plastic! Payment is expected when services are rendered. If for some reason you payment is not been received when services are rendered, you have 10 days to make payment. If payment is not received in 10 day's, there will be a late payment fee per month. If no payment is made after three months legal action will be taken. Bad checks! For all bad checks there is a$30.00 check fee! Bad weather! Dolly's waggin's policy in regards to the weather is that we will do all that we can to serve you, but when there is a level snow emergency we will need to reschedule your appointment! Also when the temperatures out side reach extreme temperatures (10 degrees or below 0/ 95 degrees or hotter) we may also have to reschedule. These extreme temperatures are very hard on the generator and air conditioner, as well as trying to stay cooled or thawed out. Thank you for understanding! Grooming cat's Yes we do groom cat's! However a lot of cat's do not do very well for the grooming process. We try our best, but sometimes you just can't groom a cat! In this case we will let you know, and there will be a fee for what we were able to accomplish. If you have a long haired cat and it's matted. It will be mandatory for us to shave him/or her down. Cat's have very thin skin and patience and do not tolerate de-matting. You will need to start over and maintain their grooming to have long mat free hair. Extremely matted dogs
When we get a dog that is very matted all over, and the mats are extremely tight to the skin it will be mandatory for us to shave your pet down. It would be to painful for your pet to withstand the pulling and tugging that it would require us to remove the mats. Shaving them down is a more humane way of dealing with the mats!
